Set up with “feed” in mind and ratchet-up the action! Buying a new pup, or have one in training? It’s not too late to choose, or train, a young dog that won’t whine or creep when the birds are front and center. Find out how! Want to call geese like a pro? Come along on a field hunt and learn what it takes. Need a road trip? Follow along on a three-stop birdathon. There’s gear, tips, tricks, humor and more in the June/July 2019 issue.

Great magazine!!!

One of the few magazines left that actually tells the story of the hunt like the great hunting & fishing magazines of the 60's and 70's.. Experienced waterfowlers don't want to read a generic how-to articles that are so basic only new hunters would learn anything from them. Those are the articles that are so prevalent in all the current hunting magazines. They want to read what other waterfowlers are doing across the country. How they are hunting and what tricks they are using in their daily hunts. American Waterfowler does exactly that. Keep it up. Reviewed 02 April 2022
