Supermarkets ‘slap in face’ for Scottish sheep farmers

SCOTTISH sheep farmers are said to be ‘appalled and disappointed’ at a lack of support from Scottish supermarkets for Scottish lamb.

NFU Scotland sent out secret shoppers over Easter to count packs of chilled lamb in stores the length and breadth of the country. They found that almost all retailers gave people little choice to buy Scottish lamb.
