Kilberry residents put on a scarily good show

THE B8024 Kilberry road was unusually busy this Easter weekend as scarecrow-spotters braved the blustery conditions to take part in a big game of ‘I Spy’

In its fifth year, the Ormsary Scarecrow Festival proved as popular and topical as ever, with a certain Donald Trump making a strawy appearance more than once.

With more than 30 scarecrows dotted along the roadside, a tough afternoon was in store for the judges who were tasked with picking a winner. After some careful deliberation, the judges marked out their top three scarecrows in the festival.
