DO IT WITH
The BFI’s celebration of queer stories on screen is back. The annual film festival brings together hundreds of LGBT+ filmmakers from around the world for 10 days of screenings and events that never fail to excite, stimulate and, occasionally, move us to tears. Here, the FLARE programmers pick their highlights from a jam-packed programme
FLARE
TAEKWONDO → A group of best mates spend a long, hot (and often naked) summer in a remote country house in this sweet and sexy Argentinian tease. You’ll need one hell of a big knife to cut the sexual tension in this one. Without doubt the hottest film of the year.

PRIA (SHORT)
→ A young man has to face the impending reality of his arranged marriage in this emotionally resonant film from Indonesia, which reminds us of the very real struggles faced by queer people across the globe.
