MIND OVER (RATHER A LOT OF) MATTER
What weight were you at your biggest and what was life like?
I was more than 400lb and so ashamed. I’d had an accident at 30 where I injured my left knee, twisted my spine, herniated three discs and fractured a vertebra. I was above 300lb before the injury but gained an extra 95lb in four months while bedridden. It was painful to just try to go through normal dayto- day tasks. I hated myself for being so heavy.
Was there a lightbulb moment where you decided to change your life?
