WHAT WOULD your seven-year-old self want the adult you to do more of? Probably something that didn’t involve worrying about money, looks or election results.
My seven-year-old self would want me to spend less time on a laptop and more time running around, dancing and screaming in public places. I’ve ended up as a comedian, so not far off. Not out of choice, obviously. I wanted to go into book-keeping but the job centre only had vacancies in comedy.
In a world ruled by categories, boxes and borders, being creative is one of the most radical acts there is. People who are in touch with their artistic inner-child live a lifestyle motivated by imagination and spontaneity.
