Aeroplane  |  RAF Salute Tornado
The Panavia Tornado, more than any other aircraft, took the Royal Air Force into the era of precision airpower. It heralded a new generation of digital reconnaissance gathering and it was the warplane from which the UK retired its last airborne nuclear weapons. Upgraded with high-tech weapons systems, the jet continued delivering its unique capability until the final combat mission. The RAF, perhaps the world, is unlikely to see anything like it again. This 100-page special is a tribute to an RAF icon.
