Korean multinational CS Wind brings a blast of fresh air to Kintyre factory

£20M investment in Kintyre Wind Turbine Tower Factory


KINTYRE is famously windy and since Korean multinational, CS Wind, took over, its wind tower factory is on its way to becoming a world beater.

In just one month, since the formal handover on April 1, the factory based on the former Machrihanish Airbase, has broken its all time production record, making 40 sections during April.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Lesley Black, said: ‘CS Wind have brought in plenty of technical expertise. We now have instant links to five other factories’ experi ences around the world to draw upon which can make problem solving much quicker.’
