KILMARTIN Museum is the place to be next week as the centre hosts the second week of the festival of archaeology.
There will be all manner of free drop-in activities taking place – experience what life might have been like when people spent their time making hunting tools, rock art and pots or join a guided walks around the archaeological hot-spot of Kilmartin Glen.
Throughout the week the focus will be on birds of prey, with a demonstration of how the birds were used for hunting taking place between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday July 28. There will also be the chance to make a paper bird at the same time.
