Argyll and Bute citizens are being given the opportunity to win a year’s free council tax if they sign up to the council’s new e-billing service. Everyone who joins the online portal and signs up for e-billing before Sunday March 24 will be entered into a prize draw to win 12 months’ free council tax.
The e-billing service allows payers to access their council tax account online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It also enables balances to be checked, see previous payments, access copies of letters, view current instalment plans, and check which benefits have been received. To be eligible for the lucky draw payers must sign up to council tax e-billing through the new online portal no later than Sunday March 24 and not have any council tax arrears on Tuesday March 26 2019 – the dates of the prize draw. Everyone who has already enrolled for the service will be automatically entered into the draw.
