Politics aside, one thing for sure that we all need – and deserve – is access to good healthcare, and in the UK, we’re lucky to have the NHS which provides us with such. We can all recall a time in which the prestigious system has been there for ourselves or our loved ones – the first time we nervously awaited to consult a nurse about contraception options as a teenager, when they supported our grandparents during their final moments, births and deaths, broken bones, 999 calls, amputations and operations, cancer diagnosis or the incredible moment a doctor confirms you’re now tumour-free. In a bid to capture the scope of what this incredible service does for us, we spoke to various different people about their experiences.
