Craft Stamper  |  Craft Stamper - October 2012
Hello! As All Hallows’ Eve approaches we have plenty this month for those of you who love a touch of the gothic. Our Cut&Create template (p.72) features bats, skulls and a fabulous Jack-o-Lantern - Kate Bentley uses the templates as masks to create a great treat bag. If you are hoping to turn your home into a spooky haunted mansion this October 31st, check out our fantastic ideas for Halloween decorations on pages 46, 52 and 54. Not into all things dark and spooky? Don’t worry: we have an abundance of pretty makes as well.
As usual this issue is packed with plenty of techniques for you to try. Kim Costello shares a fabulous technique combining Copics with coloured pencils (p.10) in a project that’s bursting with vibrant colour. Glenda Waterworth shares an awesome way to use embossing powder (p.18) and Jean Franks Beck demonstrates some gorgeous dry embossed effects (p.24). Plus we show you some splendid ideas using packing tape (p.38) and texture paste (p.62).
Finally, I just need to tell you that this month sees the final round of our Stamper of the Year competition. Round six, sponsored by Creative Expressions, is your last chance to enter! We also share the stunning results from the second round, featuring Chocolate Baroque. See pages 31-35 for details. Enjoy!
