Welcome to 2017, folks! We made it through the festive season – although many of us may have waddled rather than sashayed into the new year (thank heavens all that fashionable velvet has a little give to it), and perhaps a few are feeling the effects of a festive tidal wave of prosecco.
So it’s bleak outside, all you can afford is baked beans and you’re feeling a little glum. But listen, if you want every day to be a duvet day, maybe it’s time to toughen up, snowflake. Yes, 2017 is shaping up to be a tough year, but it’s time to shed that self-indulgence, draw comfort and strength from family and friends, and build up stores of resilience.
