Jodie Whittaker Collects Award at the NTAs

Broadchurch wins the National Television Award for best Crime Drama.
Jodie Whittaker presents the award for best Drama Performance.

Members of the Doctor Who team won big at the 2018 National Television Awards, held at the O2 Arena on Tuesday 23 January, with Chris Chibnall’s Broadchurch winning the award for best Crime Drama. New Doctor Jodie Whittaker – who played Beth Latimer in Broadchurch – collected the award on Chris’ behalf, alongside fellow cast and crew members including Arthur Darvill (who played Rory opposite the Eleventh Doctor).
