A recent study found that we spend an average of six hours a day looking at screens, including five hours at computers, and at least an hour looking at our phones. But when we look down at our screens our head goes into an unnatural position. ‘In conjunction with a sedentary Iifestyle, this stress couId eventually lead to chronic pain, numbness in the arms and hands, improper breathing and pinched nerves,’ says Sammy. ‘It can be the result of weak or tight neck and chest muscles, and it certainly makes you look shorter and older,’ adds Patrick.
