TOYTOWN TRIBUTE
Zara Tindall's outstanding event horse Toytown was put down last Tuesday
(27 June), aged 24. He was the horse who launched her career, winning individual gold medals at the 2005 European Championships (pictured) and the 2006 World Equestrian Games, the first British pair to hold the European and world double since the 1980s. Toytown will particularly be remembered for a storming cross-country round in terrible rain at the 2005 Europeans at Blenheim, which was also Zara’s senior championship debut.
