AMD has gone and done it again. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a gaming masterpiece. It’s also by far the most appealing of its latest 3D V-cache. Its more expensive siblings have a slightly odd asymmetric architecture, but the 7800X3D has just a single eight-core CPU die with a 64MB lump of sweet game-accelerating V-cache. It’s not even ridiculously expensive, and can currently be had for about $370. That’s already way down from its $450 launch price.
