STARS THRILL AT GOODWOOD REVIVAL
In a weekend of top-quality racing, the Goodwood Revival kept its best until
the end as Phil Keen blasted from the pitlane to win the Sussex Trophy at the end of Sunday. The modern GT star had qualified Jon Minshaw’s Knobbly Lister Jaguar on pole but arrived on the grid to discover the throttle stuck open. The start was delayed as Keen was pushed to the pits where hasty repairs allowed him to join the pack at the rear of the grid. From then, his performance was mesmeric, picking his way through the pack as though he were on an arcade game.
