We would like to thank most sincerely, all family, friends and neighbours in particular and the community in general, for their tremendous support following the tragic loss of our son, Andrew. We have been overwhelmed by the large amount of flowers, cards, offers of help and expressions of sympathy that we have received. We greatly appreciate the consideration and comfort provided by Nether Lochaber church. Our thanks go also to the Fort William police and the other emergency services involved, for their professionalism. Finally, we would like to extend our appreciation to the RAF authorities and to Andrew’s uniformed colleagues and friends who travelled from Germany, Cyprus, the south of England and Lossiemouth, for making his funeral such a poignant occasion. It has been so comforting for us to see that Andrew was such a valued, well-liked and respected member of the wider RAF family. Lorraine and Robert Shepherd and family.
