MS BLACK Watch, an 820-passenger cruise ship, will be dropping anchor in Loch Linnhe tomorrow (Friday) with hundreds of visitors expected to spend the day in Fort William. The ship will arrive in early in the morning with passengers disembarking and being transferred to shore from 9am. Black Watch will set sail again in the afternoon, leaving Loch Linnhe at 3.30pm.
GLENFINNAN Highland Games will be held this Saturday, August 19, on the games field in the centre of the historic village.
There will be piping, dancing, athletics and children’s competitions and events. Spectators can enjoy a licensed beer tent, food stalls, side shows and a variety of stalls with locally crafted goods for sale. The games start at 11am.
