AN EIGHTEENTH century sculpture, which was lost for many years and rediscovered propping open a shed door, is leaving its home in the Highlands to go on show in one of the world’s greatest galleries.
The bust of landowner and MP Sir John Gordon – whose family gave its name to Invergordon – was sculpted by French artist Edmé Bouchardon in 1728.
