A FORT William man was fined £160, ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work in the community and placed on a supervision order for 18 months when he appeared at the town’s sheriff court last week.
John MacGillivray, 27, of Upper Achintore, had pleaded guilty to various offences committed in June, July, August and September last year.
These comprised behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by engaging in a fight with another man and behaving aggressively on June 4 in Lochaber Road, Fort William; stealing £60 after finding the cash at Grange Stores, Grange Road, Fort William, on June 9 and making no attempt to trace the owner; possession of cannabis while on bail on August 16 in High Street, Fort William; behaving in a threatening manner in a police vehicle in Fort William on September 24 and breaching bail conditions.
