To help celebrate St Andrew’s Day, Historic Environment Scotland (HES) is launching a free ticket giveaway to some of Argyll and Bute’s top heritage visitor attractions.
HES has thousands of free tickets to give away to some of the most iconic sites in the country on Saturday and Sunday, November 24 and 25, as part of the build-up to this year’s St Andrew’s Day celebrations.
The MacDougall stronghold of Dunstaff nage Castle and Iona Abbey, a vibrant centre of Christian worship ever since St Columba arrived in AD563, are among 35 attractions taking part in the promotion throughout Scotland.
