Parchment Craft  |  July 2011
We begin with butterflies; they’re a very popular subject matter, not only with the contributing designers but with the readers too; so if you’re an aficionado, you’ll love the first project.
Designed and created by regular contributor Bruno Piechota, Summer Scene (Page 4) is a stunning 3D piece of white work which requires time, patience and plenty of dedication (the project itself took around twenty hours to complete). If, on the other hand you’re looking to produce a butterfly card over one session, there’s a fabulous card on the Talent Spotters page (page 42) which has been submitted by Andy Harper.
Besides butterflies, flowers are prominent too, with the cover project by Kannikar Sukseree serving as an opportunity to create a gorgeous bunch of white work roses, and Julie Roces providing a coloured bunch of posies.
