Performance BMW Magazine April/May 2022 Back Issue

Our cover for this issue is an awesome wide-body 8 Series. Built in just three intense months for the 2021 SEMA show, this 850Ci is all about making a big impact, and it does that thanks to the massive girth of the Pandem kit it wears. With its eye-popping arches and the dynamic M tricolour livery, it’s a show-stopping build on another level, and we love it. And if one wide-body BM wasn’t enough to satisfy you, then how about two? Because despite its sheer size, we’ve also managed to squeeze a carbon wide-body G11 740d into this issue. If you’re a fan of luxury BMs that serve up serious gangster vibes, then it doesn’t get much better than this. Of course, it wouldn’t be an issue of PBMW without some huge-horsepower builds for you to enjoy. From here in the UK, we bring you a seriously sharp-looking supercharged E92 M3 that serves up over 600hp, and it’s one superb M machine. Then we head over to Sweden to sample a stupidly powerful E30 Touring powered by a turbo M50 that’s been treated to some serious upgrades and is now making an outrageous 672whp. Elsewhere, we’ve got a full-on supercharged E46 325Ci Coupé that delivers the perfect combination of performance and styling flair, with some individual touches that really set it apart. And then there’s the super-clean E30 four-door we’ve got for you because saloons need love too, and not only does it look dazzling finished in its full Atlantis respray, it’s also got a 3.0-litre M54 under the bonnet, making this a rather special classic build. On top of all that, we’ve got all the usual PBMW content for you to enjoy and there’s plenty to get your teeth into with the April/May issue!
