The reopening of Britain’s campsites, and the hospitality industry as a whole, is certainly something to celebrate. This is perhaps the final hurdle to jump in the return to some sort of normality, but we do so with caution, and for businesses, with trepidation and bravery.
Localised spikes seem inevitable as popular tourist areas deal with a large influx of people, but we can all do our bit to minimise the risk. Our hobby is perhaps the best way at the moment to take a holiday, but there are other ways we can protect the businesses that help to make those holidays so enjoyable.
