Professional Photo  |  Issue 203
Issue 203 is out now!
We’ve got a first on the cover of Professional Photo this month, a character-filled black and white portrait that originated, not in a camera but on a computer hard drive. Produced by top pro Giles Christopher, it’s a stunning example of what AI is capable of doing these days, and inside we’re digging deeper into this whole area and are looking at further startling examples from Giles and
others while also focusing on the positives by looking at ways that AI is revolutionising post-production and taken much of the drudgery out of image selection. It’s a fascinating topic, and one that’s not going away! We’re also celebrating the opening of a brand new free-to-enter photographic gallery in the heart of London this month, with a look at what the Centre for British Photography will be offering, while Project features the work of the enigmatically-named Lord K2, who is providing us with a rare behind-the-scenes insight into the usually off-limits world of sumo wrestling. Also in
this issue we’re finding out how one highly-successful wedding photographer made the move across to shooting product imagery, we’re testing out OM System’s latest OM5 and we’re taking a look at the impressive Tamron 150-500mm superzoom for Fujifilm X photographers, along with Voigtlander’s tasty lens family that’s designed to partner the Nikon Z system. As always, it’s a great selection of stories, so come on in and take a look around!
