“They gave us the basic storyline, we developed and embellished it. Capcom gave us a mission to create a game of ever-increasing tension; we did the rest. Throughout the process we made proposals and Capcom accepted, with some minor but compulsory changes. The biggest issues were the scale of the graphics, size of the maps and the combat control system. The GBC dictated most of what was possible though.”
