» PLAYSTATION » 1997 » CAPCOM After battling my way throughFinal Fantasy VIIas a teenager, I found myself hankering for a new RPG. But what the heck was I supposed to play that could adequately follow the game that was definitely the most lavish of its type, and broadly considered the best? As with many of life’s grand questions, the answer was found on the shelves of my local video rental shop. I knew that Breath Of Fire III wouldn’t offer the same production values as Square’s all-time classic, but I recalled it receiving good reviews, and any game promising dragon gene splicing has to be at least worth a look – especially as it was being sold off for £5.
