LIFT-OFF FA CUP MAGIC IS BACK
Westfields continued their 50th birthday celebrations in style by reaching the FA Cup first round proper for the first time, as Merstham upset National League South title chasers Ebbsfleet. Step five Westfields, who were formed in 1966 in the Herefordshire Sunday League, are the lowest-ranked side left
in the competition after their 2-1 win against Leiston. Richard Greaves was
the Midland League table-toppers’ hero with an 87th-minute winner.
