How did you get in to running?
By accident. One Christmas, I was reflecting on life and decided I wanted a challenge. The following April, I received a press release about the first Yorkshire Marathon. I didn’t even own a pair of trainers. I signed up and ran it six months later. A few people said I was insane, but that didn’t deter me. I went from non-runner to marathon in six months.
