The newly published fifth edition of Collins Official Scrabble Words has added 2,862 words to the existing 276,000 previously allowed in the popular word game. Additions include fleek, yowza, dox, genderqueer, vaz, zed, ew, ze and ok. Not everyone is okay with the inclusion of OK, as an abbreviation in which both letters are capitalised. Most importantly, Collins are okay with it, arguing that OK has long ago been assimilated into the language as a proper word in its own right. So that’s OK.
