GEORGE DIGWEED CONQUERS THE ESSEX MASTERS
Reporting on the Essex Gun Masters always fills the staff at Clay Shooting with dread, but for all the right reasons. When the near two thousand shooters head to Hepworth Hall each year, it traditionally means that we are kicking off the Sporting season, and more specifically it means we are just weeks away from the British Schools & Young Shots Championship and the Clay Shooting Classic Sporting at Southdown on 1-4 June. Thankfully, the Clay Shooting Classic DTL is a few months later, so there is a bit more time to breathe, but seeing George Digweed win the Essex Gun Masters for the eighth time in the event’s 16-year history means that our competitions are just around the corner.
