Gunmart  |  Aug-24
So, here we are with the August 2024 issue of Gun Mart magazine, and it’s a doozy. Inside, you will find reviews of a wide variety of products. When it comes to airguns, Ed Jackson has been busy testing the CO2-powered Umarex 850 M2 Empire Kit. Overall, a very convenient way to get up and running with a multi-shot rig, as there is no need for a pump, dive bottle, or compressor! In addition to his test, Mark Camoccio has taken a good look at the Daystate Alpha Wolf Silver Edition, as pictured on the front cover. He has also tested the latest version of the legendary Weihrauch HW77K and a budget PCP from Gamo; the GX250.
Firearms-wise, it’s good news for those of us with an FAC, as the thumbhole version of the new ATA Turqua can be had for just £749! Chris Parkin gives his take on it, so definitely head over to page 62 for his review. Alternatively, if you fancy spending a bit more, he has also written up his Savage Impulse Mountain Hunter, which is chambered in 7mm PRC. Finally, Pete Moore has been busy testing the diminutive Bergara B14 Stoke, which is a rifle aimed at smaller shooters.
As usual, there are loads of reviews on other kit, including Pulsar’s revolutionary new ballistic firmware in their premium Thermion 2 XG50 rifle scope, Zeiss’s Secacam 7, Wildcat’s Elite sound moderators, Beeman’s 2006/P17 single-stroke pneumatic air pistol etc.
We have, of course, added some new videos to our YouTube channel, Gun Mart TV, so be sure to check those out as well!
