My health now is pretty good, but five years ago, at 53, I was 8kg heavier and did little exercise.

It was only when I suffered a scare, while ski touring in the Alps, that I had my health wake-up call, 3,000 metres up a mountain. I had a mini stroke in my eye and suffered double vision for two or three months.
