Leading blogger – and a former healthy cover star – Zanna Van Dijk shares her nutritious tips. No fancy foods or deprivation necessary

Her passion for food that’s nutritionpacked and wholesome is no less impressive than her rock-hard abs and lean limbs. And despite her recent stratospheric rise, Zanna Van Dijk is one of the most down-to-earth, healthy influencers on the block. The personal trainer turned fitspo Instagram star was behind the #girlgains movement, encouraging women to work out and eat well to gain health, rather than lose weight. It’s this no-frills attitude to healthy, nutrientdense eating, as well as her fitness flair, that has seen her debut book, Strong (Headline, £16.99), soar up the charts, as fans pore over the healthy-living tome packed with 80 exercises and 40 recipes. ‘I love food as much as the next person, and refuse to go without tasty meals,’ says Zanna, ‘so it was key to develop an approach to eating that is sustainable and enjoyable as well as balanced and fuelling for the body. My recipes are easy to follow, free of fancy, faddy foods and super-tasty; all important factors in making sure people actually use them!’
