Rebellion was on the minds of many people at the Royal National Mòd this year – with a tone of non-compliance set by An Comunn Gaidhealach president John Macleod.
Mr Macleod wants the Western Isles to become an area of special interest recognised by UNESCO for the remnant of Gaelic language and culture that is kept alive throughout the area.
