Superbike Magazine  |  June 2012
Catch up in our news where you can see the new AGV helmet that Valentino Rossi is proudly modeling in MotoGP.
We took three large capacity supermotos out for a run this month. The 900cc Husqvarna Nuda wants to be in the cool gang, The Ducati Hypermotard and KTM 990 SMR are already very much in it. Can a weird looking bike with a BMW engine really do wheelies that high?
There’s a couple of new tyres to take a look at too. Bridgestone chose Portimao circuit to launch the new S20, Avon went for Almeria for their 3D Ultra Supersport.
We also threw a leg over a 1998 500cc two-stroke GP bike, riding it up the hill at Goodwood house.
If you’re in the market for a bike that’s comfortable and quick enough to destroy countries in a flash, you’ll need to read our buyers guide for the Kawasaki ZZR series. There really is a bike to suit every high-speed budget in the line up.
We’re introducing a few of our new long-term test bikes in this issue too. Suzuki fans will be pleased to see a 2012 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 back in the fold. There’s a swanky looking KTM RC8R and a Ducati 848 EVO to get to know, too.
