The Edge Hill Prize, awarded annually by Edge Hill University, offers £10,000 for the best short story collection published in the past year. There is also a Reader’s Prize worth £1,000 judged by BA creative writing students, and an additional category with a prize of £500 for a writer on the university’s MA in creative writing.
The Edge Hill Prize is the only UK writing award to recognise excellence in a published short story collection, and is now accepting submissions for the 2016 Prize.
