Can you downgrade from Windows 11 to 10?
Q In Issue 702’s Problems Solved (pages 65 and 68), you helped two readers who had bought PCs with Windows 10 installed but later upgraded them to Windows 11. In both cases you said they would need to buy a new licence to reinstall Windows 10. Why can’t they just use the original Windows 10 installation media (or a fresh download) to reinstall Windows 10, then either enter the product key (if they have one) or allow the operating system to activate automatically based on the hardware fingerprint, without needing a new licence?
