Boots make up and sunscreen
In the past week I’ve seen two scams claiming to represent offers from Boots. The first on Facebook claimed that Boots offers “mystery boxes” containing leftover cosmetics worth £3. The post had a photo of a receipt from Boots that looked genuine. All you needed to do was complete a “quick 3-question survey”. As a 76-year-old bearded bloke, I was hardly going to be tempted, but my wife might’ve been. The other scam arrived in an email promoting a “Nivea sunscreen pack”. Again you’re asked to answer a survey. With summer almost here, I expect to see that email again.
