Acemagic F3A

Square deal

MINI PC | £709 from Acemagic www.snipca.com/54807

The Acemagic F3A arrives with a similar price tag to our current favourite mini PC, the GMKtec NucBox K11 (£700 from www.snipca.com/54341 – see page 32). They are both built around AMD’s powerful Ryzen 9 processors, though this newer PC uses the more recent AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370, which has been around for about a year. The Ryzen 9 8945HS in the NucBox K11 is about six months older.

Better than rival mini PCs at video editing and playing games

The two processors are different in other ways. The F3A’s HX370 chip has 12 cores rather than eight, giving it more than enough power for demanding tasks. It’s also been equipped to help with AI-related tasks, and has a dedicated NPU rated at 50 TOPS, compared with the 8945HS’s relatively meagre 16.
