Microsoft sued for ‘overcharging’ Office and Windows customers
Microsoft might have to pay billions of pounds to Windows and Office users if a lawsuit accusing it of overcharging customers is successful.
The action is being brought forward by London law firm Stewarts. It alleges that Microsoft abused its market dominance to prevent retailers from selling second-hand licences for Windows and Office products, forcing customers to buy them from Microsoft’s site instead, or from resellers approved by the company.
