Block ads and fingerprint tracking

Ads are annoying, but they can be blocked. AdGuard, which is available to download to your PC to prevent ads within programs and as a browser extension to remove them online, has just been updated. Alongside its built-in filters, it lets you apply additional block lists for other online annoyances, such as pop-ups and even dubious websites. And you don’t need to create these yourself. As we’ll explain here, you can simply download filters that users of AdGuard and other tools have compiled and shared for anyone to use. We’ll also point you towards a great new feature from Windscribe VPN, which reduces websites’ ability to track you online.
