Like Google’s £85 Fitbit Air (see Issue 739, p28), the Garmin Cirqa is a fitness band for those who don’t want a smartwatch, ditching the screen in favour of a smaller tracker concealed within a fabric band. Garmin’s tracker is larger and heavier than Google’s, but curves to mimic the shape of your wrist and is still light and comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it. What’s more, the design leaves room for a button, used to start and stop workouts or turn off its vibrating alarm.
