Why can’t I restore Edge’s sidebar?
Q I tried to restore Edge’s removed sidebar (Issue 740, page 42). Unfortunately, I didn’t have an Edge shortcut on my Windows 11 PC, so I created one by right-clicking and choosing C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\ Application. I followed your instructions but, alas, I couldn’t see any button to click that would reveal the sidebar.

A If the sidebar doesn’t reappear automatically when you add the --disable-features=msHubApps SidebarRetirement line to the Target box in the Edge desktop shortcut properties, you may need to carry out some further steps.
