Do you dream of a career in cookery but don’t know how to get started? Renowned culinary school Le Cordon Bleu is offering a place for an aspiring chef on its prestigious one-year Grand Diplôme in London with the launch of a new scholarship.
Designed to support someone looking for a career change, the Julia Child Scholarship is inspired by the celebrated American cook, writer and Le Cordon Bleu alumnus, who went to train as a chef in Paris after working as a copywriter. The prize includes an internship at London restaurant Mere with chef Monica Galetti, plus mentorship from several Cordon Bleu alumni. Student accommodation agency Londonist will also provide the winner with a plush room in the capital for the duration of the course.
HURRY! Applications close midnight 18 April. The winner will be chosen in June to start the diploma in September 2018. For more info and to enter, visit cordonbleu.edu/london/julia-child-scholarship
