It’s crunch time: the shortlisted producers in our inaugural delicious. Produce Awards(launched in association with kitchen specialists Fisher & Paykel; fisherpaykel. com/uk) have been announced.
At the beginning of the year we asked you to tell us your favourite bakers, butchers, cheesemakers, fishermen, dairy farmers and other producers, and received hundreds of nominations – thank you! Visit delicious magazine.co.uk to see if your nominees made it through to the shortlist.
Meanwhile, we’re preparing for the final judging, which takes place in London early next month. Our judges include the esteemed teacher, restaurateur and broadcaster Prue Leith CBE, food writer Sophie Grigson, chefs Peter Gordon and Theo Randall, delicious. editor Karen Barnes and others. Look out for the announcement of the winners in the October issue of delicious.
