A TASTE OF SPAIN
Before summer disappears over the horizon, you need to try Iberian foods supplier Brindisa’s new gazpachos. The Tomato & Almond is a beautiful salmon hue (left); the Tomato & Beetroot is a rich purple; the original Tomato a bright crimson – and all taste homemade. For a dinner party, posh them up with chopped hard-boiled eggs, little bits of jamón and a drizzle of olive oil.
Talking of olive oil... Spanish chef José Pizarro started his career at Brindisa before becoming a multi-restaurant phenomenon. His own-brand products include fruitily green olive oil and a tangy PX sherry vinegar. Gazpachos, from £5.45 for 1 litre, brindisa. com; 500ml Spanish extra-virgin olive oil and 250ml pedro ximénez reserve sherry vinegar, £22 the pair, shop.josepizarro.com
