Apply stylised high-contrast effects
James Abbott cranks up the contrast for an eye-catching stylised effect in Photoshop
1 Warm bleach bypass
Click on the Create new fill or adjustment layer icon and select Levels. Set the white point to 200, close the dialog and set the Blending mode to Multiply. Create a Black & White Adjustment Layer, close the dialog and set Opacity to 40 per cent. Create another Levels Adjustment Layer and set the midpoint to 1.55. Create a Photo Filter Adjustment Layer, select Sepia and set Density to 60 per cent. Finally, select all four Layers, press Ctrl/Cmd+G to Group and set Opacity to 60 per cent.
